Installation

Afflyr installs like any standard WordPress plugin.

1. Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard.
2. Go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
3. Click Choose File and select the afflyr.zip file you downloaded after purchase.
4. Click Install Now, then Activate Plugin.
5. You'll be redirected to the Afflyr setup wizard automatically.

License Activation

Your license key was emailed to you after purchase. It unlocks your plan tier and enables automatic plugin updates.

1. In your WordPress admin, go to Afflyr → Settings → License.
2. Paste your license key into the field and click Activate.
3. A green checkmark confirms your license is active.
4. Pro users will see Pro features unlock immediately.

Setup Wizard

The setup wizard runs automatically on first activation. It takes under 5 minutes and has no upsells.

1. Connect WooCommerce — Afflyr detects WooCommerce automatically and links to your store.
2. Set commission rate — Choose a global default (flat % or fixed $). You can override this per product later.
3. Configure payout method — Connect PayPal or Stripe, or choose manual payout logging.
4. Affiliate approval mode — Auto-approve new affiliates or require manual review.
5. Done — Your affiliate program is live. Afflyr creates a registration page automatically.

Managing Affiliates

All affiliate management lives under Afflyr → Affiliates in your WordPress admin.

• Approve / reject pending affiliates from the queue.
• Edit an affiliate's commission rate, status, or referral slug.
• Bulk convert existing WordPress users to affiliates via the bulk action menu.
• Generate coupons and assign them to an affiliate in one click.

Commission Settings

Go to Afflyr → Settings → Commissions to configure your rates.

• Global rate — Default for all affiliates. Set as a percentage (e.g., 20%) or fixed amount (e.g., $10).
• Per-product override — Edit any WooCommerce product and set a custom Afflyr commission rate.
• Per-affiliate override — Set a unique rate for a specific affiliate in their profile.
• Excluded products — Add products that should never generate commission.

Processing Payouts

Go to Afflyr → Payouts to manage all affiliate payments.

• PayPal mass payout — Select affiliates, click Pay, and PayPal handles the rest.
• Stripe payout — Send via Stripe directly from the dashboard.
• Mark as Paid — For Venmo, bank transfer, check, or any other method. Add an optional note (e.g. "Paid via Venmo 2026-03-31"). The affiliate's balance updates immediately.
• Store credit — Issue store credit directly to the affiliate's WooCommerce account.
